Shortlisted

Very pleased to announce that my climate-change novella 'Gravesend, or, Everyday Life in the Anthropocene', first published in Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine last year, is one of the finalists for the Readers' Awards. Many thanks to all who voted for it.

Details and links to all the finalists for best novella, novelette, short story and poem can be found here.

Hi Dr. McAuley, I have just finished reading Secret Harmonies, Players and Mind's Eye, the last three books of yours that I hadn't read until now. I just want to thank you, and I can't do it enough, for all the wonderful moments your stories have given me, in both troubled and untroubled times. Your unique and calm way of writing always leaves me with a feeling of peace, a little bit richer than before. I don't want to overdo it, but I hope that you manage many more and that you have some of that peace in yourself as well.
