I just sent the Gillian Welch link to my old friend and comrad-in-arms Larry Wittner, author of the three-volume standard work on the global anti-A-Bomb disarmamament movement. He has a 1-volume edition available from Stanford U.P. 'Confronting The Bomb.' I did some of the translations for the big original.

NPR have generously put up most (or all?) of the Newport sets. Still working my way through them, but it's well worth checking out the Fleet Foxes, Mavis Staples, Billy Bragg and David Rawlings Machine sets too.
